KOSMOS Conference: programme out

From 28-30 August 2019, the IRI THESys and the Geography Department are staging the KOSMOS Conference at HU Berlin. The programme is now available, and registrations are still possible until 15 August!
Navigating the Sustainability Transformation in the 21st Century

Termed ‘Navigating the sustainability transformation in the 21st century’ the KOSMOS Conference shall provide a landmark for today’s great challenges towards sustainability. A critical and constructive debate on the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be the focal point of the conference. Linking to Humboldt’s perspective on nature and humanity as web of interconnections, we target symbiosis between social, cultural, political, economic, philosophical, human, philological, engineering, natural, earth, geo, and sustainability sciences to approach this challenge.

The KOSMOS Conference will make use of classic and cutting-edge conference formats: expert forum, poster session, treasure quest, public debate, citizen scientist speed dating, bar camp, and market place. Every conference day will be opened by a keynote lecture.

Registration deadline

Registrations are still possible until 15 August.
