Torsten Meireis teaches ethics, systematic theology and hermeneutics at the Theological Faculty of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where he also serves as director of the Berlin Institute for Public Theology. Prior to the Berlin engagement he has taught systematic theology and ethics of sustainability at Berne University and Berne’s Centre for Development and Environment. Research interests include ethics of sustainability, political ethics, economic ethics and social philosophy.

He is a member of IRI THESys since 2018.
