Most people would agree that the working conditions of many workers are inhumane and degrading. In order to describe these conditions researchers and activists alike often recur to the term exploitation. My research is motivated by the question of how to understand the concept of exploitation and how to locate what makes it morally problematic.” Mirjam Müller

Mirjam Müller was a doctoral researcher at IRI THESys. Before joining IRI THESys she graduated from University College London in Political Theory and completed a BA in Political Science at the University of Constance. Her research focused on exploitation in global relations of production and on the normative grounds for responsibility.

Since 1 February 2015, Mirjam Müller was part of the research group “Economic and environmental ethics” led by Prof. Gabriel Wollner.
