Lukas Tank is a doctoral researcher at IRI THESys. He finished his master’s degree in philosophy at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in April 2017. He was a member of the second generation of the Deutschlandstipendium-Themenklasse "Sustainability & Global Justice".

His research focuses on philosophical arguments for and against the introduction of some form of carbon pricing mechanism.

Since 1 May 2017, Lukas Tank is part of the research group "Economic and environmental ethics" led by Prof. Gabriel Wollner.
