Torben Voß is a Master of Science student in "Physische Geographie von Mensch-Umwelt-Systemen" at the Department of Geography at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin where he also optained his B.Sc. His emphasis is in agriculture and geomatics. In 2011 he completed a semester at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá (Colombia) with focus in impacts and devolopment of Coffee trade and growing followed by an full time internship as Geoscientist at Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung in the Trifinio region (Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador). 

Since 1 January 2013 he worked as a student assistant at THESys keeping all Webservices and Databases up and running with steady flow of Information about what is going on at the institute.
