Gabriel Wollner was Junior Professor at the Department of Philosophy of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics (BA) and Political Theory (MPhil) at the University of Oxford, Public Policy (MPP) at Harvard University and obtained his doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) from University College London. Prior to joining Humboldt-Universität he was Assistant Professor in Philosophy at the London School of Economics. His academic interests are in political philosophy and ethics, and the application of these inquiries to various issues in public policy.

At IRI THESys, Gabriel led the research group “Global challenges in economic and environmental ethics” from February 2014 to September 2018.
