Doctoral Researcher
Hanna Pohlmann is a doctoral researcher at the faculty for organic agriculture at the University of Kassel. She is working in a third-party project “Bio-Klima-Gemüse” (organic climate vegetables) which is analysing the interdependencies of climate change, and vegetable production and consumption.
Hanna holds a Master of Arts in Global Political Economy and Development from Kassel University. Prior, she studied political science (B.A.) in Marburg and Umea. Being interested in global solidarity, she has been working as a freelancer for various organisations to teach (youth) groups about cacao production, climate justice, and postcolonial relations. She is also engaged with the //Kompost Ensemble which explores emancipatory ruralities in Northern Hesse.
