Green, sustainable and multifunctional - from Uruguayan grasslands to the edible city

How does our consumption of paper and meat affect Uruguay's landscapes? What is an edible city? And how can we take action ourselves and make the city greener, more sustainable and more livable? The research group Multifunctional Landscapes creates ideas and concepts for sustainable, biodiverse and productive spaces.

The programme includes a Planting2go, insects under the magnifying glass, a goal wall for global targets, varios fragrances for sniffing, pictures and footage about Uruguay as well as short videos on the research group themself produced by the Humboldt Labor.

The research group "Multifunctional Landscapes" is lead by Ina Säumel.

The event is part of the Wissensstadt Berlin and the Open Humboldt Festival.
