Anthropocene Ruptures: Crossing Borders, Building Connections

    CENTRAL Network Meeting

    4 June (09:30-17:00)
    5 Junie (9:30-17:30)

    Venue: Institute for European Ethnology

The second CENTRAL workshop within the series „Anthropocene Ruptures: Crossing Borders, Building Connections“ will focus on the challenges of disciplinary, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary knowledge production in and about the Anthropocene. Participants will reflect knowledge politics in their respective disciplines and discuss how tensions and risks in knowing the Anthropocene impact their ways of collaborating with other disciplines, policy makers, students, and the public. The aim of the workshop is on mutual learning, and on advancing inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to the study of Anthropocene ruptures in research and teaching from a Central-European context.

Note that this is an internal event and space is limited. IRI THESys researchers who want to participate write to Milena Bister ().
