Postdoctoral Researcher

Akpona Okujeni is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Earth Observation Lab, Geography Department, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He obtained his doctoral and diplom (MSc equivalent) degrees in Physical Geography from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He is affiliated with the IRI THESys through his scientific contributions to the “Climate and Water under Change” project (CliWaC). Within CliWaC, he is developing and applying remote sensing methods to quantify spatial-temporal responses of vegetation dynamics to altered water availability.
