Alumna (Project Manager)

Anastasiia Polianskaia joined IRI THESys in 2021 to support the coordination of the RuralFutures project. Anastasiia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Master’s degree in Global Change Management. Her master’s thesis focussed on studying climate change adaptation policy landscape of Peru. In the past, Anastasiia worked as a marketing manager in a deep-tech start-up, a spinoff of Polytechnical University of Madrid. Before joining IRI THESys, she was also assisting the project management team of the largest transdisciplinary research project at Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. Some of the main foci of her work were to support project dissemination, reporting, as well as communication with project stakeholders in partner countries, Tanzania, India and Peru.

In her capacity as a project manager at RuralFutures project, Anastasiia works in a cross-functional team to provide project deliverables for various stakeholder groups and ensure that the project reaches its objectives.
