Huihui Zhang is a postdoctoral researcher in the Climate and Water under Change (CliWaC) project working together with Prof. Dr. Tobias Sauter. Her research focusses on the application of machine (deep) learning on problems related to drought and hydrometeorology, and the construction of drought forecast models integrating multi-source datasets at Brandenburg.
From 2018-2019, Huihui was a joint PhD student in Hydrometeorology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA (UCSB) and completed her PhD in Cartography and Geography Information Systems at the School of Resource and Environmental Sciences at WUHAN University, China, in November 2021.
