Doctoral Researcher

Jelena Grosse-Bley is a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Philosophy at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a visiting predoctoral fellow with the Lise Meitner Research Group, Max Planck Institute for the History of Science. She holds a M.A. in Modern East Asian Studies from Georg-August Universität (Göttingen) and a M.Sc. in Environmental Management from The University of Hong Kong. She was a researcher/lecturer at the China Studies Institute at Freie Universität Berlin from 2018-2021. Before moving to Berlin, she spent a number of years studying and working in various locations across Greater China, including two years at Peking University (Beijing). She started pursuing her PhD at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2020.
