HU Berlin, Unter den Linden 6, Meeting point: Ehrenhof
What does Berlin sound like on a Saturday evening? Environmental sociologist Marvin Heine invites you to a sound walk through the Long Night. After a brief lecture on the 'Sociology of the Senses' and some warm-up exercises, we embark on an auditory excursion around the main building of HU Berlin. At various stations, we consciously perceive our city, make it resonate, and experiment with microphones. Listening, ignoring. Being loud, being quiet. Speaking, staying silent. All of this influences how we live together as a society.
Please bring your own headphones!
